The Description of a New World, Called the Blazing-World is a utopian novel written in 1666 by the then Duchess of Newcastle, Margaret Cavendish. It features a young woman who enters a new world via the North Pole, and subsequently organises an invasion back into her own world. This is the only known work of utopian fiction by a woman in the 17th century, and was originally published as a companion piece to Cavendish's 'Observations upon Experimental Philosophy'.
This book has 94 pages in the PDF version, and was originally published in 1666.
