This is a collection of articles written by Ida Craddock, a 19th-century American advocate of free speech and women's rights. After developing an interest in the occult, Craddock left her Quaker upbringing, opened an office offering mystical sexual counseling to married couples, and wrote many serious instructional tracts on human sexuality and respectful sexual relations between husband and wife. These sex manuals were all considered obscene by the standards of her day. Concerning one of the works, Heavenly Bridegrooms, famed occultist Aleister Crowley said that it was 'one of the most remarkable human documents ever produced...This book is of incalculable value to every student of occult matters'. The works included in this edition are: The Wedding Night; Right Marital Living; Psychic Wedlock; Spiritual Joys; and Heavenly Bridegrooms. Immediately after serving three months in prison for sending 'obscene' material through the mail, she was arrested again and sentenced to five years. As a result of this, Craddock committed suicide the day before she was due to be sent to a federal penitentiary. Also included in this edition are two letters that she wrote shortly before she died.
This book has 65,850 words, and 101 pages in the PDF version. The works included here were originally published between 1894 - 1902.
