The Coming of Cassidy and the Others is a book by American writer Clarence E. Mulford, first published in 1913. It is part of the Hopalong Cassidy series of books, Cassidy being the fictional cowboy hero created by Mulford in 1904. This book is a collection of fifteen, loosely related, short stories about the early days of Cassidy and some of his friends at the Bar 20 ranch. The character was hugely popular, with sixty-six films being made between 1935 and 1948.
