The Jewels of Aptor is a book by Samuel R. Delany, first published in 1962. Set in a post-atomic future where civilisation has been reduced to a society resembling the Middle Ages, the book tells the story of Geo, a young student who takes a job as a sailor. On the ship, he meets a priestess of the goddess Argo who is on her way to Aptor, a mysterious land of mutants, to rescue her daughter, who has been captured by those who follow the dark god Hama.
This book has 52,226 words, 103 pages in the PDF version, and was originally published in 1962.
