The Mummy and Miss Nitocris is a fantasy and occult novel by British science fiction writer George Griffith, which was first published in 1906. A prolific author, Griffith wrote many stories that appeared in magazines such as Pearson's Magazine and Pearson's Weekly. The book tells the story of a professor who comes into possession of an authentic Egyptian mummy of Queen Nitocris which also happens to be the name of his daughter. Things take a strange turn when the professor realises that the mummy also bears a resemblence to his daughter, and past and present begin to blur.
