Santa Teresa: An Appreciation is a book by Rev Alexander Whyte, first published in 1897. The author was an educator who published widely on subjects such as John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress and Jacob Boehme. This short work contains selected writings from St. Teresa of Avila, a sixteenth-century Carmelite nun and prominent Spanish mystic who became the central figure of a movement of spiritual and monastic renewal during the Catholic Revival.
